The City of Pembroke Pines invites you to participate in the 21st Annual Art Competition. Artists 18 years or older residing in the tri-county area (Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach counties) are eligible to participate. Accepted artworks will be on display at Studio 18 Art Complex from May 29 to August 5, 2026.

GENERAL INFORMATION
• Artists must be 18 years or older and residing in Broward, Miami-Dade, or Palm Beach counties in order to participate.
• Artists may only apply to one (1) medium category and can submit up to three (3) artworks within that medium.
• The application below must be downloaded, completed, and emailed, along with pictures of the artwork, to studio18@ppines.com
• This application must be accompanied by one high-resolution photograph per artwork. Each piece of artwork submitted requires a $15.00 payment. Check and cash payments can be dropped off to Studio 18 Art Complex. Credit Card payments can be made online using CivicRec. • The photos accompanying your application are crucial for the jurying process. Please submit high-resolution images with good lighting.
• Images of each artwork must be attached to the email along with the application and named with their respective title.
• The size limit for 2-D artwork is 40" x 40" and must be wired for hanging.
• Glass is not permitted on framed work. Acrylic is acceptable.
• A jury of arts professionals will review all submissions and decide what artworks to accept into the 21st Annual Art Competition. Only accepted artworks will be exhibited.
• Artists in the Sculpture category may be asked to provide additional images of their submissions via email at a later date. There is no size limit for the Sculpture category.
• The official poster for the City’s annual art event will be selected out of the submitted artworks. The poster winner will be awarded $200 and a free tent to participate in the event. The poster artwork will be wrapped around a traffic box in the City of Pembroke Pines.

RULES & REGULATIONS
• The City of Pembroke Pines has the right to modify or amend the Art Competition guidelines without notice to the artist, as necessary.
• 2-D artwork will NOT be accepted if it is not wired for hanging.
• Submission fees are non-refundable.
• Artists are NOT allowed to apply to multiple medium categories. If submitting multiple pieces, they must all belong to one medium category.
• All artwork must be original and created by the artist. Artists shall comply with all applicable rules, ordinances, codes, statute, laws, and regulations.
• All artwork submission titles, dimensions, and prices included in the application must be accurate, as this information will be used to print artwork labels.
• Artists must agree to have photographs and/or video taken of their entries for the purpose of promoting the Art Competition.
• The application agreement, waiver, and release of liability attached to the application must be signed and dated.
• The jury reserves the right to change your category if you do not adhere to the descriptions.
• During intake, the City of Pembroke Pines has the right to refuse accepted artwork that is not as described on the application or has not been juried into the show.
