Nestled between the unique treasures of Everglades National Park and Biscayne National Park lies an area rich in history, beauty, tropical climate and tempting food. Join us as we travel south to the Historic Redland Tropical Trail to discover a part of South Florida’s unique tropical paradise. Our first stop will be at the Capri Restaurant, family owned since 1958, where we will enjoy a delicious Italian lunch. Next we will visit the Robert is Here Fruit Stand; since 1959 offering a wide variety of exotic fruits and vegetables and fresh fruit milkshakes, a wide variety of jams, jellies, marmalades, sauces, chutneys, relish and pickles! Our last stop will be a tour and wine tasting at the Schnebly Winery, the southernmost winery in the U.S. featuring wines created from tropical fruits. Friday, November 16, 2018. Must be a registered SWFP member.
