Yes, a building permit is required to install a temporary banner.Temporary Banners are limited to 32 square feet and if located in a shopping center, must comply with the shopping center design criteria. Businesses may apply for banners for the following circumstances: 1. Coming Soon, 2. Grand Opening, 3. Special Events and 4. temporary business identification.
