As of April
9th 2012,
the tap water will
carry extra chlorine
for a three
(3) week period.
Fire hydrants will
be flushed during
the entire 3 week
period
throughout the city.
This annual practice
is recommended by
the Department of
Health to ensure
that the city’s
water supply is
maintained at
optimal safe levels.
Customers
may experience
unusual taste, odor
and/or cloudy water
during this process.
Nevertheless, the
water is safe for
cooking, drinking or
bathing.
