Steve Albertson, Employee of the 1st Quarter
Employee of the 1st quarter for 2006
Congratulations to
Steve Albertson for being voted Employee of the
1st Quarter for 2006. Steve is a Maintenance
Worker for the Parks and Recreation Department,
and has been employed by the City of Pembroke
Pines since February 1990. As a Maintenance
Worker II, his duties consist of preservation of
the City parks and overseeing special events.
Steve is dedicated to
the City of Pembroke Pines. On October 15th, he
demonstrated his dedication by volunteering his
own time to assist with a playground project for
the Holly Lakes Mobile Home Park. His vast
knowledge of playground equipment, safety
standards and site preparation was an invaluable
resource for which allowed the project to
progress from an idea to an actuality. With his
expertise of heavy equipment and playground
planning, Steve was able to remove the old
equipment and had the area completely prepared
for the new equipment. Steve’s commitment to
implementation and completion of this project is
illustrative to his loyalty to the residents.
Being active is
important to Steve. He loves the great outdoors
and enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and fishing
with his girlfriend and three kids.
Steve received an award
recently as the employee of the month. He takes
pride in his job and is a team player. His goal
is to continue to advance with the City so he
can continue to serve the community.
