Rubi Cabret, Employee of the
4th
Quarter and Employee of the year 2006
Congratulations to
Rubi Cabret who was voted Employee of the 4th
Quarter and Employee of the Year 2006. Rubi is a
Budget Analyst in Finance and has worked with
the City since 1998.
Rubi’s main responsibilities include budgets,
returned checks, and special projects. She was
instrumental in developing new programs-Returned
Check System and Accounts Receivable System-
which improved the current systems being used.
She is very perceptive and sees the needs of
improvements in systems being used. Her
co-workers have described Rubi as the “behind
the scenes “elf” as she is often overlooked, but
is the main reason for the end results of
various projects”.
Outside of work Rubi enjoys spending time with
her family including husband Richard and two
children Bryan and Samantha. Her hobbies include
shopping, watching Wheel of Fortune and
Computers.
Rubi’s overall knowledge and work ethics is an
asset to Finance and the City. She is very
deserving of these awards.
