Employee of the First Quarter 2008
Congratulations to Robyn Vegas, who was voted
Employee of the First Quarter. Robyn has been
employed with the City for four years, which has
been with the Arts and Cultural Center, Parks
and Recreation Department. Robyn’s hard work and
dedication are a key part of the success of the
annual Pembroke Pines Arts Festival. She is best
described by her fellow co-workers as
“exemplary”, “reliable”, “thorough”, and “a
pleasure to work with”.
Moving from
Louisiana ten years ago, Robyn takes full
advantage of the Florida outdoor activities such
as snorkeling, diving, and working out. She
also enjoys drawing and painting in her spare
time. But when asked what she enjoys doing the
most in her free time, she replied, “Spending
time with my daughter Erin.”
When asked
what she thought of her selection as employee of
the quarter, she stated “It’s a big honor for
me. I truly enjoy my work and all of the people
that are involved with the Arts program.” Robyn
seemed humbled by the selection and very
appreciative to her friends and co-workers for
nominating her for such an honor.
The City is
proud to have an employee as devoted as Robyn.
She is a remarkable asset to the Arts and
Cultural Center, the Parks and Recreation
Department and to the City of Pembroke Pines as
well.
