    September 5, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Studio 18 in the Pines

    Studio 18 welcomes world renowned photographer Sunny Bak, best known for shooting the gatefold image of the Beastie Boys on the Licensed to Ill album. Also featuring Cey Adams, world famous graphic designer who is best known for the work he did creating the famous "old school" style lettering that spelled out Beastie Boys on their album cover. South Carolina native Jimmy Henderson, a photographer and film maker will also be displaying his "feathers" photography collection. Opening Date: Friday, September 5, 2014 Time: 7:00pm-9:00pm Closing Date: Thursday, October 16, 2014

  2. September 11th Rememberance Ceremony

    September 11, 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM @ Pembroke Pines City Center

    The public is invited to attend the Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 8:30 a.m. at the Pembroke Pines City Center Memorial, 10300 Pines Boulevard, immediately west of Pembroke Pines City Hall. The Remembrance Ceremony begins with the Presentation of Colors by the City of Pembroke Pines Police and Fire Department Honor Guards. The Ceremony will include guest speakers, patriotic music featuring local school bands and area musicians.

  3. Jazz Concert

    September 21, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ William B. Armstrong Dream Park

    Please join us for our FREE Jazz in the Pines Concert Series. It features 9 Jazz Concerts on Sunday afternoons once a month. The months are January/ February/ March/ April/ May/ September/ October/November/ December. Free for participants. (weather permitting) There will be refreshments for sale. Don't forget to bring your blankets and chairs. This concert features music by Othello Molineaux. William B. Armstrong Dream Park, 1700 Dykes Road
