  1. VOLUNTEERS TRIP TO THE VA NURSING HOME

    The last Tuesday of each month, our dedicated group of SWFP volunteers travel to the Nininger State Veterans Nursing Home to socialize with clients, play games and provide activities. Trip departs Center at 10:15 am and returns at 12:15 pm

    Frank Contemporaries is a pop-up exhibition showcasing emerging artists and creative community resources; an event that offers artists, students, arts professionals and industry insiders the opportunity to present their work, discover new peers and supporters, and foster professional connections. This month, Frank Contemporaries will showcase creative works by the artists of ArtServe. Serving the community by fostering artistic growth, ArtServe helps artists turn their passion for art into a viable career by providing opportunities for collaboration, exhibition, performance, publication, and professional development. Featured artists include Osvaldo Samper, Nicolle Cure, Nerissa Balland,and CLoD. This event will include a presentation on artistic thinking and business innovation by guest speaker Ed King, creative content manager for ArtServe. This event is free to the public. Complimentary refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
