MAJOR FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES:


ARTS AND CULTURE ADVISORY BOARD -  he Arts & Culture Advisory Board meets monthly to develop cultural activities within the City, as well as to promote art in public places throughout the City. It hosts a variety of cultural events, including performances by Symphony of the Americas.

This Board hosts an annual Art Festival in the Pines on the second weekend of March each year, which has become an enormous success for both participants and attendees. The artwork at the Festival is juried and there are monetary awards for the various categories of art.

The Arts & Culture Advisory Board hosts receptions in honor of the artist whose work is being displayed at public viewings in the Glass Gallery located in City Hall Lobby. Art exhibitions change bi-monthly.
