Adult Day Care is a community-based service that assists frail elderly and dementia specific adults to remain living in their own homes, with their family, or in an assisted living care situation for as long as possible. Independence is the goal for each adult day care participant. Each individual's remaining abilities are enhanced so that he or she can become as independent as possible.
The center provides health and social services in a congregate setting. A variety of services including health screening, recreation, activities of daily living, counseling, nutrition, transportation, and caregivers support group are all offered.
