The Community Bus Service is coordinated with Broward County Transit and is designed to operate in conjunction with BCT routes in the service area, which covers western Pines only. Connection with BCT includes routes 3, 5, 7, and 23. The Pines service also offers connections with the Miramar Community Bus Service @ Memorial Hospital West (703 N. Flamingo Rd.) and Pembroke Lakes Mall @ Sears; Cooper City Community Bus Service @ Sheridan Street and Flamingo Road - Shoppes of Cooper City. There is no charge to ride the community bus!

Service Description

Service is offered to the general public Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:37 p.m. There is no service on holidays. The 5 community buses begin daily service at various times and at different points along the 2 fixed-routes. This arrangement allows for 30-minute service frequency on the gold route and hourly service on the green route. The frequency will increase on portions of the routes along Pines Blvd. from 136 Ave. to 172 Ave. and 178 Ave. to 184 Ave. All Community buses are wheelchair accessible. Riders must be at a designated stop to receive service.

Green Route: Pembroke Lakes Mall - Holly Lakes Clubhouse (US 27/Johnson St)
