EHEAP

The Southwest Focal Point administers the Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (EHEAP). This valuable program provides emergency home energy assistance to low-income households with at least one member 60 years of age or older. The individual or family must be experiencing a heating or cooling emergency.

A FINAL NOTICE statement from a local utility company is required. Eligible households may receive one benefit for a maximum of $600.00 in the cooling season and one maximum benefit in the heating season.
