The Information and Referral Department at the Southwest Focal Point Senior Center provides a vast array of services to the senior citizen population; from information and referral to case management. Services are available to registered seniors, as well as their caregivers. The department is staffed by a Social Worker.

All concerns or incidents regarding registered clients are always brought to the Social Worker for proper evaluation and assessment. The Social Worker then directs the client to the department in the Center for further assistance or is referred to the proper agency.

The Social Worker also conducts emergency home visits deemed necessary by the Project Director, to evaluate the needs of the client in order to link them with the appropriate resources.

Hours of center registration are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., walk-ins are welcomed.
