The City of Pembroke Pines Community Services Department provides transportation
services for seniors to and from a number of locations. The Transportation Division is staffed by licensed
and trained employees who are sensitive to the changing needs of the
elderly. The vehicles used in the program are provided by the City as well
as some state and federal funds. For the comfort and safety of all clients, vehicles are equipped with A/C, seatbelts, and a two-way radio.
Fifty three percent of
the vehicles are wheelchair accessible.
There are three forms of transportation services available with different requirements and destinations. Choose from the following options to determine the best service for your needs:
- Nutrition, a service for registered clients of the Southwest Focal Point
Nutrition Services to get to and from appointments and the Senior Center. Click here to learn more.
- ADA/Paratransit, or TOPS, is administered in collaboration with Broward County for individuals with physical, cognitive or visual disabilities who are functionally unable to use the fixed route bus system. Click here to learn more.
- Community Bus Program is also coordinated with Broward County and operates in conjunction with BCT routes in western
Pembroke Pines only. Click here to learn more.
