The City of Pembroke Pines Southwest Focal Point Senior Center is a non-profit organization located in the southwest section of Broward County of Florida. The center has been in operation for the past twenty five years providing programs and services that enhance the quality of life for our senior population.

With the support of the City of Pembroke Pines, the assistance of grant awards and matching funds, the following services are provided:
 

• Adult Day Care Services
• Health Support Services,
• Social Services,
• Transportation
• Counseling
• Recreational Activities
• Nutrition Program

• Senior Residential Complex

Major fundraising events such as antique shows, arts & crafts shows, Krispy Kreme Donut sales, flea markets, an annual Golf Tournament & teas are held throughout the year to help us achieve our goals. These events also help support programs and endorse future services. Donations from corporations and organizations also assist us in meeting fundraising goals.

During the week, the Volunteer Services Division operates a thrift shop, bake sales & raffles to help alleviate costs. This department is also responsible for assigning volunteers from the community into beneficial positions in our center.

The S.W. Focal Point Senior Center welcomes all adult men, women & students who would like to be a part of the many events and activities that take place at the senior center. Interested students must have parental signature when registering. The divisions listed above are available for you to choose from to take part in the Volunteer Program. Applications can be obtained from this website. Please bring your completed application in person during center’s operation hours.
