PLACE OF OCCURRENCE: 18200 Block of SW 4th Street
Pembroke Pines Fire Department currently has units working an incident of a possible venomous snake bite.
The preliminary information at this time is that paramedics from the Pembroke Pines Fire Department were requested to respond to the 18200 block of SW 4th Street, Pembroke Pines, to treat an adult female having an adverse reaction to a snake bite.
Units arriving on scene just after 6pm treated and transported the patient to Memorial Miramar Hospital.
A request for assistance from the Miami-Dade Fire-Rescue's Anti-Venom unit has been made, which is routine protocol for incidents such as this.
