Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP 1)
The City of Pembroke Pines is an entitlement recipient
of Federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) under the Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) Program. For Program Year 2008 the
City of Pembroke Pines received $4,398.575 in emergency
assistance through the Neighborhood Stabilization
Program (NSP) to facilitate the purchase and
rehabilitation of foreclosed and abandoned properties
that might otherwise become sources of abandonment and
blight within the community.

Home Repair Assistance
Through federal and state
grant programs, the City of Pembroke Pines makes
available zero interest deferred loans up to $50,000 to
income qualified households. The program addresses code
violations, roof replacement, storm shutters/impact
windows and doors, a/c unit replacement, electrical
upgrades, exterior painting, and other non-cosmetic
repairs. Homes must be owner-occupied.
