Foreclosure Prevention
The City of Pembroke Pines provides up to $10,000 to
existing Pembroke Pines residents who have fallen behind
on their mortgage due to loss of a job, unforeseen
medical expenses, unforeseen home repair expense or
recent divorce. You must undergo budget counseling and
demonstrate ability to pay the mortgage moving forward
in order to receive assistance from the City.

Purchase Assistance:
The City of Pembroke Pines provides up to $50,000 to
assist first time homebuyers purchase their first home
in the City of Pembroke Pines. Funding for purchase
assistance may be used for down payment, closing cost,
and principal reduction.

Neighborhood Stabilization
Program
The City of Pembroke Pines is an entitlement recipient
of Federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) under the Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) Program. For Program Year 2008 the
City of Pembroke Pines received $4,398.575 in emergency
assistance through the Neighborhood Stabilization
Program (NSP) to facilitate the purchase and
rehabilitation of foreclosed and abandoned properties
that might otherwise become sources of abandonment and
blight within the community.
