Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue is proud to be offering free CPR classes to City residents, their families and friends. The AHA Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only® CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant.

Classes are offered on the third Monday of each month. Contact 954-499-9600 for additional information and to sign up. Class sizes are limited to 30 people.

This course is not for certification and does not provide a course completion card.

Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue ALS Team Wins Again!!!
Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue's ALS Competition Team recently won the First Annual Miramar EMS Challenge held on October 15th, 2016.  This invitational competition featured some of the best teams from Fire Rescue agencies in the area and as far away as Orlando. The competition was held in various locations within Miramar and featured a number of difficult scenarios with a multitude of serious patients to challenge the teams.
Congratulations!!! Your hard work and dedication exemplify the professionalism of our department along with the men and women who proudly serve to make us a Class 1 organization.

Memorial Ceremony Honors Fire Chief Joseph Montopoli

Recently, the Town of Davie held a memorial service honoring the late Fire Chief Joseph Montopoli, who passed away suddenly on February 1st, 2016. Prior to becoming the leader for Davie Fire Rescue in 2007, Fire Chief Montopoli was a member of Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue and proudly served the citizens of Pembroke Pines for 25 years before retiring as Assistant Chief in 2005.  
A short service honoring the life of Fire Chief Montopoli was held and his name was added to the Davie Police and Fire Memorial located within the Bamford Sports Complex in Davie.
