The City of Pembroke Pines Early Development Center (EDC) Central Campus offers children ages 2 thru 10 a unique, fun-filled summer experience in a safe, secure, and loving environment. Our staff has been carefully selected. They are caring, mature, well-trained people who are sensitive to the needs of young children.

Activities
In addition to camp counselors, our programs will have specialists who will provide your child with a summer filled with age-appropriate activities including:
  • Arts and crafts
  • Computers
  • Cool cooking
  • Drama
  • Gym
  • Music and movement
  • Science
  • Sports
  • Theme days
  • Water play
  • Swimming (K-4)


Fees
Our summer program, beginning June 9, 2014 and ending Thursday, August 14, 2014 for preschool (ending Friday, August 8, 2014 for K-4th grade), will provide your child with stimulating activities and experiences that will continue to enhance his/her developmental growth.

The non-refundable activity fees for the summer preschool program (10 weeks) will be $150.00 for the 2- and 3-year-olds and $225.00 for the pre-k program. The activity fee will be $250.00 for the 9-week kindergarten-fourth grade program. These fees are due by May 9, 2014.

To enhance the camp experience, special programs and field trips are planned throughout the summer for K thru 4th grade.

Mini Camp for the 2014-2015 School Year

Kindergarten through Fourth Grade

The City of Pembroke Pines Early Development Center Central Campus will provide mini camp for the teacher work days and winter, spring and summer vacations. All mini camps will be held in the charter elementary school cafeteria.

The cost will be $35.00 per day. Space is limited and based on a first-paid, first served basis. Please come by the preschool and complete the appropriate forms (and pay your $35.00 registration fee, if you do not attend our before care program). All checks should be made payable to the City of Pembroke Pines. No forms or cash payments will be accepted in the cafeteria.
