The following items can be
placed in the newspaper bin:
Newspaper, cardboard, envelopes, magazines, catalogs, phonebooks, office paper,
junk mail, cereal boxes and clean pizza boxes
The following items can be placed in the commingled bin:
Aluminum and metal cans, brown, green, blue or clear glass bottles and jars,
plastic bottles w/ recycle logo 1 or 2 on bottom, drink boxes, milk and juice
cartons
The following items are not acceptable:
No cans w/ petroleum products, chemicals, or poisons
No aluminum foil, foil trays, pans, pie plates
No aluminum cooking utensils, furniture, windows etc…
No Styrofoam
No plastic bags
No bottle caps or lids
No window glass, ceramics, crystal, ovenware, light bulbs or tubes
No wet newspapers
No garbage
