Pursuant to section 50.33 (Am. Ord. 1754, passed 6-19-13) of the City of Pembroke Pines Code of Ordinances, deposits required for new accounts for the use of city water and sewer facilities shall be $100 if an account is opened by a property owner and $300 if an account is opened jointly by a property owner and tenant, payable as follows:
Owner: Water and Sewer Deposit, $100.
Tenant: Water and Sewer Deposit, $200.
The tenant will receive and be jointly liable for the monthly service invoice during their tenancy. The owner is fully responsible for all charges at the property until transferred to a new owner.
All new owner Utility accounts require a completed, signed and notarized Utility Service Application along with the following documentation: (Click here for application)
If Application is Being Signed by the Owner We Require:
Deposit $100.00 (Payment must be in the form of cash, check or money order.)

If Application is Being Signed by Someone Other Than the Owner or If Property is Owned by a Business or a Bank:
$100 deposit (Payment must be in the form of cash, check or money order.)
Please note: All security deposits are applied to the final bill, therefore, all balances are to be settled at closing between the seller/buyer before starting new service.
