The Pembroke Pines Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency which offers emergency services to our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our agency currently has over 270 sworn officers and over 100 civilian staff members, who serve our diverse and rapidly growing community of 180,000+ residents.
The City of Pembroke Pines is the 10th most populous Florida municipality, and the second most populous city in Broward County. Conveniently located in Southwest Broward County, the city spans an area of 34.8 square miles which includes multiple residential subdivisions, commercial plazas, major highways such as I-75 and US-27, lakes and canals, and portions of the Florida Everglades along our western border. Our city is home to 23 schools, as well as the Broward College South Campus.

Our East Headquarters lobby, located at 9500 Pines Boulevard, is staffed each day from 7AM to midnight. Our West Substation lobby, located at 18400 Johnson Street, is staffed Monday through Thursday, 7AM to 5:30PM.

Safe Deal Zones
Both our East and West police stations are designated as ’Safe Deal Zones’. These locations are available to the general public for use as a safe meeting spot to conduct online transactions or other exchanges (such as online sales and purchases, or custody exchanges). The parking lots of both locations are available to the public on a 24/7 basis.
The East Headquarters lobby is accessible to the public 24/7, and the West Substation lobby is accessible to the public between 7AM to 5:30PM.

In The News
In a continued effort to provide premier law enforcement services to some of the most vulnerable members of our city, our agency has developed our Autism Calming Bags initiative. These bags afford members of our agency the ability to utilize situationally appropriate tools to adequately interact with members of our community, while in crisis, who may be on the Autism spectrum.
