Missing Persons

Reporting a Missing Person

There is no required waiting period to report a missing person.  If the individual is a minor, disabled, mentally handicapped, or otherwise endangered please contact 911 immediately.  If the missing person is an adult and you have no reason to believe they are in immediate danger please contact our non-emergency line at 954-764-HELP (4357).

The sooner that police are contacted the more likely it is that the missing person will be located quickly and safely!

When reporting a missing person to police, please be prepared to provide as much information as possible.  This includes the missing person’s physical description (height, weight, race, gender, hair color & style, eye color, etc.), their date of birth, what they were last seen wearing, and providing a current photo.
