West Campus

The City of Pembroke Pines Early Development Center-West Campus welcomes you to our center. We have a very enthusiastic and friendly staff that value your children and want only the best for them.

Our main motivation is to nurture and protect your children as they develop socially, emotionally as well as academically.

The main goal is to instill in them a love of learning that will continue with them throughout the rest of their lives.

Our school program start from 1yr old to pre-kindergarten age. We offer the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program (VPK), 3hrs. or full time, as well as Mini-Camp and Summer Camp for Kindergarten thru Third Grade.

Staff

All of our dedicated educators have a CDA or a higher level of education and all assistants must possess a minimum of 40 hours of accreditation in childcare. They are all CPR and First Aid certified.

In order to enrich their education further and keep up with the latest developments and concepts in education, all staff is required to complete 10 hours of in-service training yearly.

Program

As we prepare the children academically and socially we implement the Creative curriculum in our preschool.

In order to take full advantage of this curriculum we further expose our children to a number of enriching activities that enhances their education and enjoyment of learning like: Cooking Activities, Art, Music and Movement and some Spanish classes. We bring in professionals in their fields so that the children can get hands on experience of the lessons they are being taught such as: Science Eye, Pangea (Exotic Animals), Petting Zoo and 10 tons of Snow.

To introduce children to their community we participate in programs such as: The Hop-A-Thon to help fight Muscular Dystrophy and the Trike-A-Thon which benefits St. Jude’s Hospital and teaches our children how to help others who are less fortunate than they are. We also participate in Stranger Danger from our City of Pembroke Pines Police Department and Stop, Drop and Roll from our Fire Department.

Special Activities

The children truly enjoy their time in our center especially during these very special activities: Fall Festival Parade, Valentine’s Dance, Bike Day, Thanksgiving Feast, Spring Egg Hunt and our Spectacular Graduation.

We also offer extracurricular activities such as: Soccer Shots, Ballet, Hip Hop.

If you would like to see what we do in person, please don’t hesitate in giving us a call for a tour or just stop by.
