City Closings Notice
Due to Storm Conditions
MEDIA ALERT
Pembroke Pines, FL (October 7, 2024) -- City of Pembroke Pines Charter Schools will be open on Tuesday (Oct. 8) but, there will be no extracurricular activities after school. The Early Development Center will be open on Tuesday but will close at 5 pm and will remain closed on Wednesday and Thursday. Before Care/After Care will be open on Tuesday but will close at 5 pm on Tuesday.
- Pembroke Pines City Hall and all other City functions will remain open on Tuesday (Oct. 8) and will close at 5 pm. Any update regarding the remainder of the week will be provided depending on further information on the storm.
- City of Pembroke Pines Parks will close at 5 pm on Tuesday and will not be open on Wednesday.
- The Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center will be open on Tuesday and close at 5pm — it will remain closed on Wednesday.
- Buses (shuttle buses and senior transportation) will not be in operation on Wednesday/Thursday and will discontinue at 5pm Tuesday
