Third Annual Veterans’ Employment Expo Weekend Antiques and Collectibles Show and Benefit
October 3, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Companies interested in hiring United States Military Veterans are invited to participate in the Third Annual Employment Expo for United States Military Veterans for retired and active duty personnel. The Expo will open to the public beginning at 12noon. Over 40 different companies and a dozen social service agencies will lend their expertise and assistance to aid United States Military men and women interested in getting back into the work force. Fourteenth Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive
Donation deadline: November 3, 2017.
Donations of non-perishable food items are welcome for the Annual Pembroke Pines Carl Shechter Southwest Focal Point Community Center Campus Thanksgiving food drive to assist one hundred families. Donations will provide qualifying families with generously filled bins of non-perishable foods, turkeys and more to assure enjoy a bountiful Thanksgiving meal.
