Pembroke Pines, FL… October 2, 2017… The winners of the City of Pembroke Pines Thirteenth Annual ART Competition will be announced during the Opening Reception on Friday October 6, 2017 from 7:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Studio 18 in the Pines 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines.
The community is invited to attend the free event to view the winning art work and meet the artists who won in the following eight categories Best of Show, Best Digital Art, Best Drawing, Best Photography, Best Sculpture, Best Mixed Media, Best Painting, Best Watercolor.  One artist from the winning eight will earn the distinction of having his/her artwork featured as the Festival Poster for the 2018 Twentieth Annual Arts & Crafts Festival in the Pines. The Art Festival will take place on March 10 and 11, 2018 at the new City of Pembroke Pines Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way.  Accepted entries and winners of The City of Pembroke Pines 13th Annual ART Competition will be on display at the October 6, 2017 ART Competition Artist Opening Exhibition and Reception at Studio 18 in the Pines. The community and school groups are welcome to view Art Exhibitions at Studio 18 in the Pines, located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in Pembroke Pines any Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and/or on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  Admission and parking are free.
