Pembroke Pines, FL (November 6, 2019) -  The location has changed for The City of Pembroke Pines Veterans Day Ceremony being held on Monday, November 11, 2019 from noon to 2 p.m.  Guests and friends for the Annual Veterans Day Ceremony can attend in the Commission Chambers Building, located at 601 City Center Way in Pembroke Pines.  This special celebration is free and everybody is welcome to attend.  A light lunch will be served upon conclusion of the ceremony.   
 
The observance honors all men and women of the United States Military, past and present that heroically served in the United States Armed Forces.  The program will feature the presentation of colors by the Pembroke Pines Police and Fire Department Honor Guards, guest speakers from multiple US Military Services, and remarks from City Officials.
 
A reminder that commemorative bricks paying tribute to the United States Military Veterans and loved ones will be available for purchase.  Personal messages can be left on each brick for the one that forever holds a special place in one’s heart.

In the United States, Veterans Day annually falls on November 11.  This day is the anniversary of the signing of the armistice, which concluded the World War I hostilities between the Allied nations and Germany in 1918.
