Along with the park, what about a splash pad like they have in Roswell. You can charge $1-2 per child to use the splash pad and all money goes back to the city or maintenance of the park.

I would like to see two fenced in areas. One area would be designated for small dogs and one area would be designated for large dogs. In an ideal world, each area would have benches and access to water (water fountain, spigot, etc.).

Would love to see a part of the Hickory Road Park made into a dog park with agility equipment. It would be great to have a place to exercise your dog off leash.

By fostering competition between different companies we could ultimately have a better service at what should be a cheaper price. Maybe the city could put in its own fiber optic network and sell internet access to its residents as a utility. This will ultimately be a big boom to our city by bringing in new businesses that need a great internet services, or even residents who work from home and need a good internet service.

As a software engineer tech related activities are scarce to come by in Pembroke Pines. There's always several meetups a week in Miami centered around different technologies which make it a great environment for professional growth and networking. I am part of professional meetup groups where we can use facilities for free like VentureCafemiami.org, or CodeforMiami.org. Just going on meetup.com you find React.js, RubyOnRails, Javascript meetups happening any day of the week. Having a place for these organizations to meetup in Pembroke Pines would make it possible for us to nurture our local tech professional ecosystem.

Recently, the sequence of traffic lights changed in our city. I am sure much research was conducted before the change was made. However, as a driver I have experienced drivers changing from the turn lane to the through lane because they believe they have been skipped, posing a safety issue. Additionally, the turning lights are no longer allow an appropriate amount of cars through and the aforementioned occurs again. I feel that residents need to be informed of the changes to the sequence of lights and time needs to be spent ensuring the duration of lights are appropriate.
