    EVENT CANCELLED Hop, skip and jump over to our annual egg hunt with over 50,000 eggs! First 500 children receive a free pair of bunny ears. Event is held on April 11, 2020. Free Admission. Prizes and children's arts and crafts plus a special visit with Peter Rabbit and more! Two locations: Pines Recreation Center, 7400 Pines Blvd and Pembroke Shores Park, 501 SW 172nd Ave. Gates open at 9:30AM Sharp! Don't be late to get your spot in line. Hunt begins at 10:00AM.   2. Pines Day - 60th Birthday Celebration- POSTPONED

    EVENT POSTPONED We’re turning 60 and are ready to party. Everyone is welcome to help the City of Pembroke Pines celebrate “Pines 60th Birthday Celebration” on Pines Day, Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way. It will be a birthday party like no other, complete with decorations, party hats and balloons, rides, fun activities and lots of food. The event kicks off with an array of free activities, stage performances, rides, bounce houses and hours of celebrating. There will also be the Little Miss Sweetheart Pageant and the Miss Pembroke Pines Royal Court Pageant when young ladies will be crowned to be the newest city ambassadors. The contests are open and free for Pembroke Pines residents ages 3-5; 6-8; 9-12; and 13-16. Applications can be found online at www.pinesday.com
