July 28 through September 23, 2023, Studio 18 Art Complex is presenting its newest exhibition entitled “Chance Encounters” in collaboration with IS Projects. Chance Encounters explores the idea of the portfolio exchange by displaying portfolio exchanges from IS Projects’ collection, Studio 18 artists, and featured portfolios from artists around the country. A portfolio exchange is an opportunity for artists to make work and then exchange it with other participating artists, taking a snapshot of the community while growing collections and disseminating ideas. IS Projects is a public access printmaking and book arts studio located in Miami, Florida. The studio houses letterpress, fine art printmaking and book arts equipment. There are workshops, hourly studio rental, internships, book binding services, edition printing and commercial printing.
Located at 1101 Poinciana Drive, Studio 18 Art Complex is open Monday - Friday, from 8:30 am to 5 pm and on Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm Admission and parking are free.
