Free jazz begins again as the City of Pembroke Pines Jazz in the Pines Concert Series starts back up on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the Charles F. Dodge City Center, located at 601 City Center Way. International Jazz vocalist Shenita Hunt will be performing, and there will be live painting by Marcos Conde. This family-friendly event includes nine concerts once a month on Sunday afternoons, weather permitting. Those who attend are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for seating. Concessions will be available for purchase. Enjoyed by hundreds, these concerts are a great break from busy schedules, and give people a chance to listen to the soothing sound of Jazz outdoors.
