The Carl Shechter Southwest Focal point Community Center, located at 301 NW 103 Ave., has created an in-person veterans assistance program held twice a month, every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month from 9 am to 4 pm in Room 198. This program begins June 6, 2025. An accredited officer is available to discuss claims such as fully developed compensation and pension claims, burial, appeals and more.
