Learn how to protect your home from Deed Fraud on August 12, 2025 at 7 pm at the City of Pembroke Pines Commission Chambers located at 601 City Center Way. This is a free event and open for all Pembroke Pines residents. Hosted by Mayor Angelo Castillo and Broward County Property Appraiser (BPCA) Marty Kiar, this is an opportunity to learn more and talk about deed fraud which occurs when a property deed or title transfer is executed and recorded illegally without authorization or knowledge of the true and present owner. BPCA staff will be onsite to sign residents up for a free Owner Alert System and assist with tax-saving exemptions residents may be qualified for.
