The City of Pembroke Pines is partnering with Florida Humanities to present a quarterly lecture series inspired by monthly cultural celebrations, aiming to educate, engage, and spark meaningful dialogue within the local community. Those ages 18+ are welcome to attend on Monday, November 3, from 6 pm to 7 pm at City Commission Chambers, located at 601 City Center Way, to celebrate Native American Heritage Month with Seminole Portraits: Reflections Across Time. In this engaging lecture folklorist Dr. Annette B. Fromm focuses on portraiture over time to tell the rich history and continued vitality of the Florida Seminoles. This presentation is free, is open to the public and no registration is required.
