Happy New Year!

As we begin the new year, we would like to remind you to take advantage of the free healthcare services available to you as a part of our medical plans. Preventive care is key to helping you stay healthy and detecting health problems early on before they cause other issues or become more difficult to treat.  These services are free – just make sure you remind your doctor that your appointment is for your preventive care.

 MEDICAL PREVENTIVE CARE INCLUDES:

  • Annual Physical
  • Screening Mammogram
  • Screenings for cervical cancer, prostate cancer, colorectal cancer
  • Immunizations, including your annual flu shot and COVID-19 vaccine
  • NEW!  RSV Vaccine is now covered!!  If you are over the age of 59 or if you are less than 32 weeks pregnant during RSV season, the RSV vaccine is now covered.   You may receive the injection either at your in-network doctor’s office or at your local in-network pharmacy.

Important Information Regarding DeltaCare Provider Changes and Age Limit for Pediatric Dentists


We would like to inform you of some important updates regarding DeltaCare provider changes and age limit for pediatric dentists.

If you have already visited a DeltaCare provider and decide to change providers, please note that you will need to do so between the 1-15th of the month for it to be effective immediately. If you change your provider on or after the 16th of the month, you will need to wait to visit the new dentist the first of the following month.

Additionally, we would like to inform you that the age limit for pediatric dentists is changing for 2024 from age 7 to up to age 13. This change is only applicable to the DeltaCare (DHMO) plan as pediatric dentists are considered specialists. If you are enrolled in the PPO plan, you can visit a pediatric dentist with no age limit restriction on the plan.
