Section 125.0231 of the Florida Statutes prohibits camping and sleeping on public property. This law provides residents, business owners, and the Florida Attorney General the right to file written notice with the City Commission of the City of Pembroke Pines of an alleged violation of the prohibition of public sleeping and public camping.
