Sound the Alarm

***IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR A SMOKE ALARM INSTALLATION YOU MUST WEAR A MASK DURING THE DURATION OF THE INSTALLATION***

The City of Pembroke Pines and Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue is partnering with the American Red Cross to install free smoke alarms in high risk neighborhoods nationwide. Our Department will proudly take part in the Sound the Alarm program which runs from April 8, 2021- May 8, 2021, joining more than 100 communities across the country, to provide a lifesaving service to reduce death and injury from home fires.

A member of the Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue Department will contact you to schedule the date of installation. 

Please note: We will only be installing smoke alarms to the first 50 registered residents from April 8, 2021- May 8, 2021. We will only install battery operated smoke alarms, not hard wired smoke alarms. 

After May 8, 2021 we will continue smoke alarm installations. If your submission was received after the first 50 you do not need to re-register and you will be contacted when future dates become available.
