To provide participants an opportunity to gain volunteer community service hours, and develop work experience. Volunteers will provide assistance to staff in the organization and implementation of recreational activities.
The City of Pembroke Pines Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is always looking for Student Volunteers. Please see requirements below:
WHO: Participants must be 15 years and have completed 9th grade. Volunteers must be Pembroke Pines Residents or attend a Pembroke Pines School.
WHAT: Volunteers can assist our summer programs, city programs and citywide special events. This is a great learning experience!
WHEN: The need for volunteers vary however there are numerous opportunities available throughout the year. The City Volunteer coordinator will assist with assigning volunteers.
WHERE: Several locations throughout the City of Pembroke Pines.
TIME: Varies depending on assignment.
