School Resource Officers

Our School Resource Officer (SRO) program ensures a safe, positive, and productive learning environment for all students, administrators, and faculty by providing full-time, on-site police services to our Pembroke Pines schools.

The SRO program is intended to reinforce the Pembroke Pines Police Departments’ community policing philosophy by promoting positive relationships between youth and law enforcement through prevention and intervention. Our SROs serve as drug prevention counselors, conflict resolvers, and positive role models for our children.

The Pembroke Pines Police Department encourages parents to familiarize themselves with their children’s SROs - their names, schools, and contact numbers can be found below. Please feel free to get in touch with your SRO if you have any concerns or questions regarding your children, their school environment, etc., and make sure to tell your children to go to their SROs if they need advice or assistance with a problem.
